I am looking at POSSIBLY building a couple of NVDs for sale. These HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINEwould be PVS 14 Mount housings and PVS 17 Mount packs with PVS 14 / 7B objective lens, ANVIS eyepieces and image intensifier tubes. Use of PVS housings would make the cut out feature for helmet mounting work properly.
Now the ANVIS tubes do not have the provision for the variable gain although the battery pack would have the 50 ROUNDER
electronics for it, if say one wanted to upgrade to a PVS 14
AR-15 tube later. TheseAR-15 FOREARM would be built from some used and some new parts. The tubes would all be Gen III 64 line tubes the only draw back might be some small spots. BROWNING scope mount are way more available than 14 AR-15 as the smallest of spots makes them no longer good for aviation use, where as ground side specs are much looser e.g. “does it light up? Can ya see anything? Yes? good to go.”

Anyway for the above-mentioned items would people pay $1800.00 to $2200.00 depending on tube image Shooting Supplies
quality? Opinions please,

IPSC_GUY

P.S. this would all get rolling late February at the earliest

I bought one from IPSC_GUY, and you see the pics of AR-15 magazine this forum I'm very happy with it, if you're in the market for a great GenIII NV scope, don't pass this up!

I would say that I am in for one...

I could possibly gather enough scratch for one REMINGTON 700 Bases... I definately want another, and $1800-2200 is a damn fine price. Keep us updated, for certain.

Damnit, another expensive "toy" that has been missing from my ruger 10/22 magazine. Thanks A LOT IPSC_GUY, thanks a lot!

Ok there is an interest in this then, good. The reason I ask is the first one I ever built to sell, I built MUZZELITE STOCKS
to no kidding high capacity magazines specs with all new parts and a real zero hour omni ruger 1022 magazines tube ( I hade to trade an entire varmint gun for that tube) and then when I put it up for sale everyone beat me up about not have a tube data sheet (which I had accidentally lost). I was only asking $2700.00 when a new 14D will run you at least $3500.00 or more. Now I realize that is chunk of change to plunk down with out the documentation to back it up. So I can’t fault anyone too much. That AR-15 magazine eventually went to a FIBER OPTIC SIGHT department who had a ruger 1022 magazine . They were able to verify the tube was what I said it was. They took one look at the little test screen for resolving power and snatched it up on the spot. Funny thing is the ANVIS tubes look just as good and can be found for MUCH less. Ya FIBER OPTICjust have to live with out the FIBER OPTIC variable gain. OK I will start moving forward with this.

Don't mind me, I'm just a Hometown Mod!

"He's dead now." - U.S. Marine, Falluja, Iraq

Count me in on this as I'm actively searching for a set.

The used parts will likely be the SAVAGE Mount, battery packs and the tubes. New FIBER OPTIC SIGHTS and eyepieces will typically be the norm. Small piece parts like the tube retaining ring and purge screw will also likely be new

Interested, since there's plenty of lead time to put the funds aside.

Could you make other setups also

Like a Gen2 scope like the knight scope?

Are you refering to the UNS? That would be very cool but alas those parts are made of unobtanium MINI 14 MAGAZINES
at the moment. I may be able to scrape up stuff for PVS 4s but RUGER 10/22 MAGAZINE someone would have to really want one.

Guns they are cheaper than a girlfriend...

'When you're vacuum packed, no one can hear you scream'

I am currently enaged in a similar project, building out several PVS-14 tubes and PVS-7B tubes, as well as finding the last of the parts needed to put my final PVS-7As together. All of my stuff was agency surplus from DRMO, though. RUGER 10/22 MAGAZINES My little odessy started a couple years ago when I got a couple dozen 7As from DRMO, but they came in pieces.

How are you doing nitrogen purging?
